TO THE REAL WORLD...

GENERAL FEATURES.

YEARS 2007 - 2008 . NEW WORLD BLOCKS.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reasons for the worst social problems, especially in the third world are not due to the growth of population or to lack of basic resources. According to all intellectual and honest criteria the reason is global capitalism. The world´s most important and often disastrous decisions are made by capitalist headquarters. The democratic representation systems no longer have real political power. Especially in America, Big-Buisness and the Government are, for the most part, one and the same. The Government lives to support and back the industrialists, while the majority of citizens unknowingly support the system themselves. Education is our greatest weapon.

Well-being and entertainment-oriented people, especially in the developed industrialized countries, combine to close peoples' eyes and distract them. They do not see the harsh contradictions and worsening economic and political circumstances of the world.

Only few people realize that the essential basis of Western wealth are the natural riches of the Third World and the work done by people in the impoverished areas of the world. People often concentrate on trivial social news, insignificant details, or downright lies fed to them intentionally by the mainstream media. This angle of view must be widened in order to understand and to change the world. So many people can name every player on a football team, but yet do not know anything about the world, or the country right next door. Lack of understanding and education are two of our greatest challenges.

The intent of the information, opinions and thoughts on these pages is to arouse new ways of thinking, serious conversation and corresponding concrete action for the future. Kominform´s starting point is the Marxist angle of view because there is at least for the present no other all-covering tradition of social science in sight.

On high level of human thinking, the low level can be understood, but at the low level of view, upper level opinions are not understandable. Thus, approaching capitalism in the Marxist way works. Correspondingly, the bourgeois evaluations of socialism are absurd.

There is a fatal error in the political and economic social structures in our world. This error must be corrected otherwise all the machinery will be destroyed. Capitalism´s social and economic structures are jammed in a state, which feeds its own destruction. At the same time the deadlock causes problems for efforts to build new systems at a higher level.

Worldwide class contradiction is at the moment sharper than ever. It is difficult to imagine mankind's future without solving this horizontal contradiction.

Centralizing worldwide capitalism, e.g. globalization, creates neither richness nor welfare. The rich become even richer, but wealth differences grow both regionally and between social classes. The result is social ill-fare. Economic growth based on capitalist exploitation spoils earth, water and air, yet such a high percentage of this growth is concentrated in the hands of so few people. The Earth doesn't recover so easily. Species necessary for life on Earth are destroyed in accelerating speed. The climate conferences in Kyoto and in Hague remain as farces with impossible equations. The Bonn meeting gave the world a tinkering agreement, which is increasing air pollution. Third World Water Forum in Kyoto in March 2003 did not have better results on the growing worldwide water problem.

The meeting of rich countries in Brussels in May 2001, the UN meeting in Mexico in March 2002, the IMF/ WB meeting in April 2002 and FAO meeting in Rome in June 2002 gave poorer nations nothing. G8-meeting in Canada in June 2002 was harmful for world´s people. It did not give anything. The intention was just to cement capitalists´ power. World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2003 had the same purpose. The G8-summit in Paris in May 2003 promised nothing but future wars. The G8-meeting in Evian in June 2003 did not change anything in spite of China´s exceptional participation as a guest. The participating Third World´s guests spoke of water problems in Africa. The G8-leaders ignored that essential issue. Instead, they focused "fight against terrorism". WTO meeting in Mexico in September 2003 collapsed before it was set to run. States of the third world brought to the table essential issues and problems in the UN General Assembly in September 2003. Yet the real power even in the UN belongs to the rich countries, also after the attack on Iraq. No progress.

Neither will future meetings of industrialist and capitalist powers give anything to peoples in misery, besides empty promises and more lies.

NGOs in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in January 2003: The transfer of financial resources to developing countries has been decreasing each year since 1997, which means that money is being taken from the poor to give to the rich in a world economy that functions like a Robin Hood in reverse.

The key for justice is not in the global money. The keys are socially planned economy and national sovereignty.

The world summit for sustainable developement in Johannesburg in August/September 2002 summit in November 2002 might have been able to give something useful in case it with UN´s prestige questioned world´s capitalist system, which it - of course - did not do. However, a positive feature in this meeting was visible participation of Cuba, Libya and the DPRK along with other countries of the third world. The resolutions of the summit hardly have any concrete contents. No better results in the Delhi summit in November 2002.

Belief in the eternal capitalist profit-based economic growth as the basis of future of the world, and the ideas of the protection of nature, and of even some kind of worldwide social justice are in sharp contradiction with each other. The contradiction is so sharp that even sophisticated methods and civilized discussions are not enough. For instance, the contemporary ATTAC-movement has good aims, yet without questioning capitalism as a system there will be no progress.

The misery preceded by classics of socialism comes true in different forms depending on the development level of the society. In the so- called "welfare states" there is a social time bomb ticking. In the underdeveloped countries the impoverishment is absolute.

In capitalist circumstances the world´s contradictions may lead to wide wars. Imperialism's unscrupulous robbery, even by armed forces, is often wrapped up by words "human rights", "freedom", "democracy", "struggle against drugs", "fight against terrorism" and so forth.

With wars, by threatening with wars, by blackmailing with commercial blockades, by monetary election-manipulations, and by stirring up unrests, imperialism tries to destroy sovereign states in order to get more markets and raw material areas. Imperialism's goal is world dictatorship. The dictatorship is carried out in practice by the USA and its lackeys.

The mainstream media has created an idea of a so-called international community. That kind of a community does not exist. There are only capitalists´ worldwide organizations. Mankind really needs a functioning international community instead of the co-operation bodies of the capitalist governments. Additionally, a real international court would be necessary. The Hague court is not such an element. The Lockerbie-farce against anti-imperialist Libya and the "trials" against former Yugoslav leaders are nothing but political processes and show-trials.

The United Nations as it is now does not represent nations or people. It is a body of mostly capitalist governments. Participation of Democratic People´s Republic of Korea in the UN summit in September 2000 was stopped by brutal violence at Frankfurt airport. Socialist Republic of Libya was prevented to participate by dishonest political tricks.

Locking intellectual economic progress in the need of capitalist investments procedures is one way to distort truth. Real economy is based on work, raw materials and saving, not on speculative money and wasting. Recent experiences in eastern Europe and in the third world show that capitalist financing usually causes even more misery. Economy and money are two different things. Capitalism sees only money.

The contents of the concept "democracy" have been turned upside down. The world governed by headquarters of multinational companies is called democratic.

The UN fabricated in July 2002 an index of "democracy" in world´s states. In this childish paper the UN does not at all pay attention on the real circumstances of people´s life. The focus is in so called formal "political rights".

Yet there are socialist leaders, who see the world from a responsible social angle of view. Media calls them dictators. Remember, mass-media is not a liberal truth-telling source. Media too, is a big business with its own interests.

Anyway, socialist powers grow up again. A strong anti-imperialist front has been formed, especially in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Significance of the anti-imperialist front has grown especially during the contemporary US President's regime. Both China and many other countries have approached USA with friendly attitude. Answers have systematically been military provocations and threats.

Private ownership of earth, air and water is an absurd idea. However, global capitalism is heading exactly to this illogical goal.

IMF´s goal is to privatize water maintenance systems in Africa. So far the socialist Libya is the only country in Africa where water maintenance works properly. Hence IMF in fact intends to destroy water maintenance and watering systems of vital importance. Subjugating of basic human needs under commercial profit-making will for sure not succeed in Africa. IMF´s real aim is no doubt to set African people under world capitalism´s political and economic control.

Capitalism has so far had support because the bourgeois way of thinking has been too simple a way to face the world. In the situation of worsening worldwide sociological and ecological problems and the threat of large war, honest people will have to change their world picture. Also because of this reason the wheel of history, which has for more than ten years rotated backwards, turns sooner or later in its proper direction. One after another nations will choose their own, often tortuous, path towards socialism.

People used to ask why socialism collapsed in Eastern Europe. There is no simple answer. It is self-evident that socialism has to fight against many internal and external enemies.

Yet efforts to fight back with plain economic and political means are apparently not enough. Permanent victory is obviously possible only by paying special attention to maintenance of communist ideology and socialist work, to adopt the Spirit of revolution. Economy and other practical social issues follow the leading ideology.

Anyway it is quite evident that the last decade, after collapsing of East European socialisms, has been worse for humanity than the cold war era. The arrogant and arbitrary foreign politics of one superpower does not give people anything but still more serious problems.

Along with the huge American and European economic scandals and bankruptcies in 2001-2008 and along with the lability of exchance rates since 1997 the world capitalism aproaches its collapsing day by day.

In the chronic situation of difficulties the capitalist leaders arrange more or less secret emergency meetings. Those meetings cannot save the rotten system. When capitalism gets weaker, its ability to resist socialism decreases.

The mediocre petty-bourgeoisie now smile arrogantly at this vision, and at socialism alike. They wont be sneering for long.

Modern office technology and data processing methods will be a great assistance when establishing new socialism. The former technical-type mistakes can be avoided by advanced techniques. Modern computer technology is able to carry out almost unbelievable tasks and visions. Yet without social context this high-tech capability has very little to give to mankind.

Socialism is international necessity. Yet in many cases the contemporary political processes refer to importance for each nation to be first and foremost out of the multi-national crowd.

The existing forms of developing socialism need and deserve worldwide support. On the other hand, they can lend hand to progressive movement all around the world.

Yet existing socialism has even now a lot of well-working social structures and good mutual co-operation. In April 2001, the ninth national party conference of the Communist Party of Vietnam was attended by the Communist Party of China, Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Communist Party of Cuba, the Workers´ Party of Korea and the Cambodian People´s Party. These parties have real direct power. The parties are vital and their cadres and activities have sharply increased. This is a fact the mainstream media tries to deny.

Also in capitalist circumstances communism makes progress. Prestige of communist parties, especially in big capitalist countries, has grown. Good examples are the parties of Canada, India and Australia.

Representatives of 54 Parties from 41 countries from all continents attended the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties held in Athens on 22-24 June 2001 on the topic «Communists and the labour and trade union movement». Many others, not in position to be present for various reasons, expressed their support to the initiative. Eleventh International Communist Seminar was held in Brussels, May 2-4, 2002 on the topic Economic Crises and the Possibility of a Major World Crisis.

The world wakes up. The meeting of EU elite in Gothenburg including visit of the US President in order to promote the US aggressive nuclear missile system has caused a large storm of protests. Incidents in Genoa prove that no power can stop the new worldwide process against capitalism. Protecting WTO´s Qatar meeting, by prohibiting entry to the country, gives an idea of what the bourgeois consider "freedom". Large protests against capitalism and war were arranged elsewhere.

The massive terror attacks in USA in September 2001 reflect world hate against global capitalism. Yet the method, which caused civilian victims, cannot be accepted. The US reaction is mediocre as usual. Instead of considering the backgrounds and reasons for the incidents and processes, they speak of revenge. Yet even the target of the revenge is unclear.

War has always been a good tool for capitalism in order to save the capitalist ideology and system in circumstances of economic recession. "Terrorism" is an excellent pretext for starting a massive war.

"Fight against terrorism" is a phrase without contents. It has been mostly used by USA who has itself terrorized -- especially the Third World for decades, by all possible means. "Declaration of war against terrorism" is once again a pretext for full war against states and nations -- in spite of the fact that there are only few people on the list of suspects. Was the target of the attack really some terrorist group or is it imperialism´s aim to occupy Asian territory under the pretext "Osama bin Laden"?

It is amazing how many other western industrialized countries gave their support for US aggression without criticism. Obviously money and common capitalist ideology count.

The governments of western capitalist countries are not worried about coming military attacks on south-Asian countries and nations. They should understand all possible consequences and long-term affects.

Russia and China were obliged to get involved, more because of their own regional interests than for hunting terrorists. NATO in the heart of Asia is one more geopolitical danger.

According to BBC news on September 18th, 2001 the attack on Afghanistan was planned already in July 2001.

Hence the whole process stinks really bad. The Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaida issues are quite obviously nothing but bluff. The attacks on Afghanistan would have been carried out anyway. In December, US officials showed us a videotape to prove bin Laden "guilty". That tape is worth nothing. It does not have anything to do with the attack on Afghanistan.

Afghanistan´s geopolitical status corresponds to the situation of Yugoslavia. Both countries are on the route towards the Caspian oil areas, although from different directions.

There were massive demonstrations all around the world against the attack on Afghanistan and now against all the future military measures, especially in the weekend January 18th - 20th, 2003 against the coming war on Iraq. The capitalist governments ignore these expressions. Here we see concretely the state of western "democracy". Does any citizen actually vote for wars? Or are the special-interest run "democracies" ordered by their industrialist and business masters as usual.

Beginning of a new full war on the basis of plain purpose-oriented secret "evidences" seems likely. These kind of contradictions have been reality and will be repeated as long capitalism governs the world.

The USA, with its allies, has recently arranged massive military maneuvers in the Mediterranean, in Turkey and in the Gulf area. It has also continuously strengthened its military readiness in south Korea.

These military measures do not have any connection with the incidents of September 11th. However, geographically they fit very well with long-term plans for US military operations in the heart of Asia.

In addition to Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Iraq, according to public news, attacks will possibly be targeted also to Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Philippines, Indonesia, Syria, Zimbabwe, Byelorussia and so forth. This is actually no news. Imperialism´s missiles have destroyed much of these countries already for ten years. Bombarding of poor countries is typical of US cowardly methods.

The President of the USAs threatens with faked pretexts also north Korea. Yet the great military power and alliance arrangements of the DPRK will - let us hope - prevent further extreme absurdities.

A large inter-state war has obviously been avoided this time due to Russian and Chinese moderate politics. Yet new targets and pretexts will be found... The multinational armed forces of western military alliance have come to Asia to stay.

After occupying Afghanistan, the USA is building a missile system in that area to be targeted against China. Imperialism threatens militarily independent countries, especially in East Asia, while its immediate economic target is the Caspian oil.

The hypocritical words of supporting one-China and one-Korea politics by the US president during his trip to Asia in 2002 were nothing but absolute lies. In fact, the goal of US foreign politics in Asia is divided China and divided Korea. The united strong Asian countries would cause a threat against the geopolitical idea of the US-led unipolar world.

The desperate situation in Palestine reflects the contemporary unsolved equation of global capitalism. The imperialists should kill all the Palestinians to achieve full control of the area. Yet it is obviously not possible. However, even that war is going to escalate.

When messing in Palestine the US president and the Israeli prime minister may now have carried out a project which has been a dream of the international workers´ movement so far. In 2002/2003 an incredible large worldwide anti-imperialist front is a fact.

The rapid activation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2002 means that the US dream of a unilateral world can be forgotten. The SCO forms a powerful East European-Asian counterpart against NATO, IMF and all the corresponding western systems.

In August 2002 Israel asked the US to carry out soon the attack on Iraq. The real Axis of Evil in the world is according to all intellectual criteria the unholy alliance between USA and Israel.

The UN resolution on Iraq in November 2002 ment quite obviously UN´s surrending and acceptance of an imperialist war.

The NATO summit in Prague in November 2002 discussed of military measures in order to subjugate all the world under US-led imperialism. Summit´s cover name was "fight against terrorism".

At the same time the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held its visible meeting in Moscow. It was hardly a coincidence. At least some goals are in strong confrontation with NATO´s aims. The SCO wants for instance the U.S. nukes off from Korean peninsula.

Internal contradictions of the NATO in 2003 may give the world a glimpse of hope. Splitting of that military monster would be one of the best things for the mankind at this stage.

The massive demonstrations all over the world in February - April 2003 and further processes gave to all responsible political decisionmakers serious reason to think carefully about realities of politics and to re-evaluate the contemporary political situation in the world.

Unfortunately, the most important political leader in this sense was the president of the U.S; it is quite apparent that Mr. George W. Bush has problems with his mental health. His religious-type fanatism as "a saviour of the world" can be compared with Adolf Hitlers´s erroneous ideas during the years before the WWII. In the end of February 2003 Bush gave the UN an ultimatum to accept the war. Almost all world´s other decisionmakers did not appreciate this absurdity - excluding the prime minister of the UK.

The Non-Aligned Movement meeting in Malaysia in February 2003 was a positive historical event. The U.S. and its imperialistic politics was condemned in Kuala Lumpur. President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa when opening the NAM summit: ...." we do everything we can to protect and advance the principle and practice of multilateralism, against the tendency towards unilateralism. This requires that we fight even harder for the democratization of the international system of governance."

In their meeting in March 2003 the Arab League made an unanimous decision to oppose western powers´ attack plans on Iraq.

US presidents´s and UK prime minister´s criminal war plans against Iraq were rejected by the UN. However, the war begun.

The UN did not even condemn the US/UK criminal attack, which is against the UN charter. Cuba´s Fidel Castro and many other world´s political leaders have said the the age of the UN is over.

Continuous war in various forms all around the world is obvious. Violences continue in Iraq and in Afganistan. The US is placing Syria under its command. The US threatens openly now Iran, Russia, Cuba and the DPRK.

There are several crisis areas in the world, like Palestine, northern Ireland, Philippines etc. Accordingly, there have been peace and cease-fire negotiations, systematically without any sustainable results. Why? Because in circumstances of internal contradictions of capitalism and imperialism it is not possible to remove the objective political end economic contradictons and unjusts on local levels either. So called mediators´ work is for nothing, because they always deny the most important facts.

Indonesian Vice President Hamzah Haz stated on April 5th, 2003 that the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) could be further developed to replace the United Nations (UN), since it has failed to keep the United States from waging war against Iraq.

In June 2003 China, Russia and India informed about essential increasing of their military budgets and of intensifying of their trilateral defence cooperation. The counterforces against the US-led imperialism are big.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Russia signed on June 19th, 2003 the Joint Declaration on Partnership for Peace and Security, and Prosperity and Development in the Asia-Pacific Region in Phnom Penh. This declaration is one more anti-imperialist element in activities against the US-led imperialism.

In 2004 - 2008 the eastern hemisphere formed new and strong anti-imperialist mode in the form of commercial-military Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Eurasian defence alliance Collective Security Treaty Organization.

Up to 2008 Russia and China had signed remarkable and wide-ranged cooperation agreements with states of Latin America and Africa.

In August - September 2007 large military drills were held in Eurasia by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and by the Collective Security Treaty Oranization. SCO´s summit was held in Bishkek, Kyrgystan.

In 2008 the anti-imperialist cohesion in Latin America reached a new stage when Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Dominica had joined the ALBA-integration.
